Camping 2013: Little Crater Lake, OR

Camping was the #1 thing on the kids must do in Portland list. My Dad found the coolest little campground near Timothy Lake called Little Crater Lake. The lake was clear and bright blue. The water was just freezing at 34 degrees. It was just beautiful! We had such a wonderful time camping with my parents, my brother and cousin Jack. The kids just love being in the woods and sitting around the campfire at night!

These 3 decided they were brave enough to put their toes in the freezing lake. It only lasted a few seconds, but Carson, Emma and Jack all did it! They were very proud of themselves!
